I’m sure many of you have heard this before, and it can be easy to get discouraged by selling a product in an area with few buyers. Fortunately, this does not have to be the case.
With a population of around 890, one high school in the whole county and one of the highest unemployment rates in the United States, Lobelville, TN definitely falls under the “small town” category.
After becoming an Ambassador with Plexus in September of 2012, Sonya Dudley had her work cut out for her in Lobelville. Starting with just friends and family on Facebook, she has grown her organization to the level of Gold Ambassador and has recently been able to leave her full time job to focus on growing her business
“I have been so busy on the phone and Facebook that I have rarely had time to even leave the house. This is exploding!”
Sonya has advice for other Ambassadors who are starting out in similar situations:
“Create your Power Group.” Really get out there and find a core group that wants the same thing you do!
“Get personal success stories.” It is so important to have stories from you, your family or your friends. People you know and can relate to, which you will be able to tell others about.
“People will pay to look good and feel good.” People are willing to spend money to look and feel good no matter what time of year. Get out there and sell 10 — 20 Decision Packs in your first three weeks.
Following these simple guidelines Sonya has been able to overcome the boundaries of her small town and grow her business at an astonishing rate. She has built the foundation for a long successful career providing health and wealth.
